Co-founded by active entrepreneurs Rob May, known for founding Backupify and Talla, and Todd Earwood, who founded Integrate IQ and MoneyPath, Half Court Ventures is a Boston-based venture capital firm established in 2016. It acts as first believers in founders' visions, investing in early-stage AI and machine learning startups to support world-transforming technology. The firm primarily focuses on seed-stage companies, with 85% of its portfolio dedicated to AI/ML and 12% to B2B SaaS. Half Court Ventures has invested in over 100 tech companies across the U.S., backing more than 45 startups within 30 months. Managing multiple funds, including an initial $3 million fund, the firm launched its AI Multi-Strategy Fund 1 in January 2025, with assets under management exceeding eight figures.
