Steven Tamm

Steven Tamm is a technology executive who serves as Chief Technology Officer at Salesforce in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joining the enterprise software company in 2004, he managed the core platform engineering teams and directed the technical architecture required to scale the system to process more than 100 billion daily transactions. Prior to his extensive executive tenure at Salesforce, he worked as a senior engineer at Plumtree Software, contributing to enterprise portal solutions before the company was eventually acquired by BEA Systems. Tamm completed his higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he successfully earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
