Santiago Pehar

Santiago Pehar is the Founder of Bora Ventures, an angel investment and startup co-creation firm based in Montevideo, Uruguay, with additional operations in the Miami area. Before establishing his current venture in August 2019, he served as Chief Product Officer at VIX, where he directed content development and digital strategy from March 2017 until the media company's acquisition by Univision in May 2019. Previously, he held the Chief Product Officer title at Batanga Media starting in January 2016 and originally founded the digital platform iMujer.com. Alongside his operational roles, he has served as an active angel investor and advisory board member since May 2016, following his business administration studies at Universidad ORT Uruguay. His current focus centers on leveraging his expertise in search engine optimization, growth marketing, and product management to scale early-stage technology startups.
