Ryan Merket

Ryan Merket is a tech executive, angel investor, and Managing Partner at Comal Ventures based in Austin, Texas, who currently supports emerging founders at Microsoft for Startups. A self-taught programmer, he previously held early product and platform roles at major technology companies including Facebook, Reddit, and AWS. As a serial entrepreneur, Merket has achieved two startup exits, notably founding Appbistro, which was acquired by InMobi in 2012. Through his venture operations, he has invested in more than 100 early-stage startups since 2012, building a portfolio that includes recognizable entities like Teachable. He also serves as co-founder and Head of Product at Get Structure, an operations platform managing human resources, payroll, and accounting. Merket's current focus centers on early-stage venture capital, founder mentorship, and sharing his personal journey from high school dropout to Silicon Valley leadership.
