Peter Boyce II

Peter Boyce II is the Co-Founder and CEO of Skyfire AI, an artificial intelligence infrastructure platform based in San Francisco, California. Before launching his current venture, he worked as a quantitative researcher at Jump Trading and a software engineer at Google. Boyce previously co-founded Mercor, an AI hiring platform that reached a valuation exceeding $100 million before its acquisition by Scale AI in January 2026. Under his leadership, Skyfire AI secured a $15 million Series A funding round led by Khosla Ventures in 2024 and subsequently released its Helios inference engine in March 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvard College, where he graduated in 2015. His current professional focus centers on bridging mathematics and computer science to build scalable enterprise machine learning tools and AI infrastructure.
