Michael Lazerow

Michael Lazerow is the Managing Partner of Lazerow Ventures, a personal early-stage technology investment firm based in New York City. He previously served as the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Buddy Media, a social media marketing platform that was acquired by Salesforce for $689 million in 2012. Through his investment vehicle, he has backed more than twenty companies, securing notable exits with PillPack's acquisition by Amazon and Returnly's sale to PayPal. Recognized on the 2022 Forbes Midas List of top venture capitalists, Lazerow recently participated in Worklife's $12 million Series A funding round and led a seed round for the artificial intelligence startup Adyoulike. He holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University. His current investment strategy focuses primarily on seed-stage enterprise software, marketing technology, and consumer internet startups.
