Melissa Bradley is the Founder and CEO of New Majority Ventures and a General Partner at 1863 Venture Fund, based in Washington, D.C. She previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tides, a Vice President at UBS Private Client Services, and a co-founder of the exited technology platform Ureeka. Bradley also held administrative roles under the Clinton and Obama administrations and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University in 1989, followed by a Master of Business Administration from American University in 1993. Currently, she is a Professor of Practice at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and serves on the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women Advisory Council. Her investment strategy and professional initiatives primarily focus on impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and providing capital to underrepresented founders to close the racial wealth gap.
