Maria Cirino

Maria Cirino is the Founding Managing Partner of .406 Ventures and a Director at Onapsis Inc., based in Boston, Massachusetts. She co-founded the venture capital firm alongside Larry Begley and Liam Donohue in 2006, and the partnership has since deployed over $405 million across 44 investments in early-stage technology companies. Prior to transitioning into her current investment career, Cirino served as the Chief Executive Officer of Guardent and subsequently became a Senior Vice President at VeriSign. She has also held additional leadership and board positions at several prominent cybersecurity and data analytics firms, including Carbon Black, Threat Stack, and Simon Data. A graduate and former Trustee of Mount Holyoke College, Cirino currently leverages her twenty-one years of operational experience to focus on early-stage venture capital investments within the information security, managed services, and digital media sectors.
