IAG Firemark Ventures is the Sydney, Australia-based corporate venture capital arm of Insurance Australia Group (IAG), investing in early-stage startups to transform risk management and insurance through innovative technologies and data. The firm manages $170 million across two dedicated funds, strategically deploying capital into insurtech, AI, cybersecurity, and agritech companies that align with IAG's operations across Australia and New Zealand, often acting as both investor and customer. To date, it has made 33 investments across 28 portfolio companies, with 13 technologies already embedded within IAG's customer experiences, enhancing capabilities for millions of customers. Its portfolio features recognizable names such as Airtasker, Life360, UpGuard, Plnar, Carbar, and DAS, with Scott Gunther leading as General Partner. IAG Firemark Ventures was established in 2016.
