Steven Ji is a Partner at Sequoia Capital China, where he focuses on early-stage investments across the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Before joining the firm in 2005, he gained venture capital experience at Walden International, Vertex Management, and CIV Venture Capital, targeting wireless, internet, and semiconductor startups. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, earned in 1995, and completed his MBA at the China Europe International Business School in 1999. Consistently ranked among the top 50 venture capitalists in China since 2010, Ji has built an extensive portfolio featuring prominent technology companies such as Dianping, Ele.me, 4 Paradigm, and Noah Finance. With over two decades of institutional investing experience, his current focus remains on identifying and scaling high-growth TMT enterprises throughout the broader Asian market.
