DSP Group, Inc. developed integrated circuits and chipsets for Voice over IP (VoIP), multimedia, and digital cordless applications. Founded in 1987 by Davidi Gilo, DSP Group initially focused on specialized semiconductors for communication. Gilo, an early CEO and chairman, led creation of the first telephony answering device speech processor in 1989.
