It operates as the investment banking arm of the Discount Group. Its modern structure emerged in early 2016 from the merger of Clal Finance Underwriting and Discount Capital. Tzahi Sultan, who founded Clal Finance Underwriting over two decades ago, serves as Chairman of Discount Capital Underwriting. Hila Himi joined in 2015 and leads the firm as Chief Executive Officer.
