Yuri Lee

Yuri Lee is the Head of Venture Capital at the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS), where she is responsible for building and managing the venture and growth portfolio for the $44 billion pension fund. She assumed this position in July 2024 following an appointment by TMRS Chief Investment Officer Yup S. Kim. Prior to joining TMRS, Lee served as a Partner at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), sourcing and managing investments across various growth-stage technology companies. Earlier in her career, she worked within the technology investment banking division at Morgan Stanley in 2021. Alongside her finance career, Lee demonstrated entrepreneurial capabilities by developing Arena of Kings, an independent gaming title that successfully scaled to 30,000 users. Her professional background combines institutional capital allocation, technology-focused investment banking, and direct operational experience in digital product development.
