William Salcedo

William Salcedo is the Chief Executive Officer at Partcl, a technology startup focused on developing electronic design automation tools for the semiconductor industry. Prior to leading his current venture, he gained industry experience working in hardware engineering at Nvidia Corporation. Salcedo established his technical expertise early in his academic career at Cornell University, where he successfully taped out two complete semiconductor chips entirely from scratch as an undergraduate student. He later advanced his academic pursuits at Stanford University, conducting specialized research on the integration of artificial intelligence techniques into circuit verification methodologies. During this research period, he notably developed one of the earliest functional chips designed primarily through the application of large language models. His career currently focuses on bridging traditional hardware engineering with emerging artificial intelligence capabilities to optimize modern semiconductor verification processes.
