Willem van den Bosch

Willem van den Bosch is a Los Angeles-based venture capital investor who most recently led early-stage investments at Soma Capital. Throughout his career, he has accumulated eight years of combined operating and investing experience across the finance, corporate strategy, and venture capital sectors. Prior to his tenure at Soma Capital, van den Bosch worked as an operator on the finance and strategy team at DoorDash during the company's pre-IPO phase. Before entering the technology sector, he handled operations and risk analysis for Black-and-White, a Los Angeles-based long-short hedge fund. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he completed a double major in economics and political science. His current investment focus centers on sourcing and evaluating early-stage startup opportunities within the software-as-a-service (SaaS), deep technology, and financial technology verticals.
