Vish Shastry

Vish Shastry is the Managing Partner at One Ventures in San Francisco, California, where he leads early-stage investments across artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and climate technology. Managing a venture portfolio exceeding $200 million in assets under management, he has backed over 20 companies and achieved multiple acquisitions by major technology firms while generating fund returns of more than 10x DPI. In March 2025, Shastry led a $15 million Series A funding round for the AI drug discovery startup Neurovex, and he recently joined ClimateAI as an advisor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Emory University and is actively involved with the Y Combinator alumni community. Shastry leverages his prior startup operating experience in life sciences to identify and scale founder-led startups operating at the intersection of biology, healthcare, and enterprise software.
