Vamshi Balanaga is the Co-founder and CTO of Partcl, a Y Combinator-backed startup focused on accelerating chip design workflows. At Partcl, he led the development of Boson, a GPU and AI-driven tool that increases chip compilation speeds by up to 700x. Before launching his current venture, Balanaga gained hardware and engineering experience at Nvidia and developed embedded machine learning systems at Apple. His background in robotics and automation includes engineering roles working on laser weeding robots at Carbon Robotics and warehouse automation technology at Fulfil Solutions. He studied physics at UC Berkeley, attended Cornell University, and was enrolled in the electrical engineering and computer science doctoral program at Stanford University before dropping out to pursue entrepreneurship. Balanaga currently focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence and high-performance computing to modernize electronic design automation and hardware innovation.
