Torben Frigaard Rasmussen

Torben Frigaard Rasmussen is a Partner at Tanken 16 and Chairman of the Board at Quadsat, based in Odense, Denmark. As an active business angel and venture investor, he currently holds board chairman or direct investment roles across a diverse portfolio of more than 25 technology companies. Throughout his career, Rasmussen has been directly involved in over 20 merger and acquisition transactions across Europe and the United States, working alongside notable software firms such as E-conomics, Umbraco, and Cardlay. His investment track record includes the successful 2018 exit of Mobile Industrial Robots (MIR), which was acquired by the American technology firm Teradyne for $222 million. Drawing on his experience from both the founder and investor perspectives, his current focus centers on scaling early-stage software-as-a-service ventures and executing growth strategies within the Danish technology ecosystem.
