Tim Haley

Tim Haley is a Managing Director and Co-Founder at Redpoint Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. Before establishing Redpoint, he began his technology investment career in 1987 as a general partner at Institutional Venture Partners. Throughout his tenure, he has directed early and growth-stage investments in software and digital media, backing startup companies such as Zimbra, which was acquired by Yahoo, and Responsys, which was purchased by Oracle. He currently holds active seats on the corporate boards of four notable technology companies, including Netflix, Zuora, ThredUP, and 2U. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Santa Clara University in 1981 and now serves on its Board of Trustees. His current professional focus remains on guiding consumer internet and enterprise software companies through strategic growth and public market transitions.
