Tim Dorr

Tim Dorr is an Atlanta-based software engineer and entrepreneur currently serving as a Staff Programmer at Shopify and a core maintainer of the widely used open-source project React Router. He previously co-founded SalesLoft in 2011, serving as the company's original technical architect and helping build the foundation for a sales engagement platform that eventually reached a $1.1 billion valuation. Prior to his current corporate role, Dorr worked as the Director of Engineering at Remix, a specialized web framework startup that was successfully acquired by Shopify in 2022. Beyond his direct engineering and executive roles, he has been deeply involved in the local technology ecosystem, serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence and active mentor at Techstars Atlanta. His career primarily focuses on developing scalable web infrastructure, advancing open-source JavaScript frameworks, and advising early-stage enterprise software companies.
