Susan Hobbs

Susan Hobbs is a Partner at CrunchFund, where she focuses on seed-stage investments in early-stage technology startups. She began her professional career as a public school teacher in Southern California before transitioning into the technology sector. Hobbs held early operating roles at the hardware startup Codian, which was acquired by Cisco, and the San Francisco software company CoTweet, which was later acquired by Salesforce. She subsequently spent four years as the Director of Global Programming at TechCrunch, managing major ecosystem initiatives and industry events. Prior to joining CrunchFund in July 2016, she served for fifteen months as the Director of Programming and Events at the startup accelerator Y Combinator. Her current professional focus centers on leveraging her diverse operating expertise in strategy, partnerships, and product marketing to support early-stage founders across the venture capital landscape.
