Steve Troy

Steve Troy is a member of the Scholars Network team at Noodle and the former CEO and Co-Founder of Unsaddl, based in New York, New York. He transitioned to his current role following Noodle's acquisition of Unsaddl, an employee benefits technology startup that operated with approximately 10 employees, in April 2026. Prior to founding Unsaddl, Troy worked as a Financial Analyst at Education Loan Finance, where he helped launch new student loan products that generated over $1 billion in total originations. He also gained early professional experience as an associate at Squarespace and earned an AB in Economics with a Finance certificate from Princeton University. His career focuses on the intersection of financial services and human resources, specifically developing education technology platforms that facilitate student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement programs for modern workforces.
