Sebastian Hevia

Sebastián Hevia is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of AgendaPro, a software-as-a-service platform for beauty and wellness businesses based in Santiago, Chile. Since establishing the company in 2014, he has scaled the engineering organization to support a 50-person team while participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch under the guidance of primary partner Gustaf Alstromer. Hevia helped the startup secure $3.7 million in funding in January 2022 to further expand the platform across the broader Latin American market. Operating concurrently as Lead DevOps and Chief Architect, he built the initial product architecture from scratch and currently manages a modern technology stack utilizing Ruby on Rails, React, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes. His primary focus remains on driving technical leadership, scaling cloud infrastructure, and optimizing software development for AgendaPro as it expands its regional market presence.
