Sean Sebastian

Sean Sebastian is a General Partner at Black Tech Nation Ventures, a $50 million seed-stage venture capital fund based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He co-founded the firm in 2020 alongside Kelauni Jasmyn and David Motley to invest in diverse-led technology startups, securing limited partner commitments from Bank of America and Google's Capital G. Previously, Sebastian served as a Founding Partner at Birchmere Ventures, where he directed early-stage investments across more than 100 companies and oversaw successful corporate exits including FreeMarkets and CyOptics. His earlier career includes founding The Telford Group and holding technical and consulting roles at General Electric Information Services and American Management Systems. A United States Air Force veteran with engineering and business degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Sebastian currently focuses on scaling capital access for underrepresented founders across the United States.
