Black Tech Nation

Black Tech Nation operates a comprehensive platform empowering Black technologists and entrepreneurs. It provides mentorship, educational programs, and collaborative spaces to foster innovation and growth within the tech ecosystem. The organization aims to bridge critical resource gaps for founders, supporting their journey to secure funding and scale ventures effectively.

Kelauni Jasmyn founded Black Tech Nation in Pittsburgh in 2017. Her vision stemmed from the insight that a dedicated ecosystem was crucial to support and elevate Black technologists and entrepreneurs. Jasmyn, a skilled community builder, expanded this platform by co-founding Black Tech Nation Ventures (BTN.vc) in 2020, to include formal venture capital.

Black Tech Nation primarily serves Black founders, entrepreneurs, and tech professionals seeking development, support, and investment. It envisions an inclusive tech landscape where Black innovation flourishes, cultivating talent and ideas. Its mission is to be a leading advocate and resource for Black representation and entrepreneurship, guiding individuals to successful ventures.
