Scott Booth

Scott Booth is a Special Advisor at Lead Edge Capital and the Founder and Manager of Eastern Advisors, based in New York City. With over 20 years of experience in early-stage and growth-stage venture capital, he has directed investments across software, internet businesses, energy, and telecommunication infrastructure. Before establishing his own investment advisory firm, Booth served as a portfolio manager at Kingdon Capital and held affiliations with Yield Capital Management. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Holy Cross College, where he was a Watson Fellowship recipient. His historical investment portfolio includes backing the data platform data.world during its 2017 funding cycle. Booth currently focuses on providing hands-on strategic guidance to leading venture capital firms and managing pre-seed through growth-stage technology investments.
