Sam Hajjar

Sam Hajjar is a Partner at 50 Partners based in San Francisco, California, where he leads seed and Series A investments across the technology sector. Before joining his current firm, he served as a Principal at Initialized Capital focusing on AI and fintech, and previously worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Throughout his venture capital career, Hajjar has managed a portfolio of more than 20 investments, which includes the 2021 IPO of Amplitude. Recognized as a 2024 Midas List Rising Star, he recently led a $15 million seed funding round for an AI infrastructure startup in March 2025. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and currently focuses on bridging financial investment with operational scaling for early-stage companies across AI, fintech, and climate tech.
