Robert Baltera Jr.

Robert Baltera Jr. is a biotechnology executive specializing in pharmaceutical drug development and innovative therapies. He began his corporate career by spending 17 years at Amgen, where he gained extensive experience in the commercialization and development of biologic treatments. In 2007, Baltera was appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer of Amira Pharmaceuticals, directing the firm's focus toward small-molecule drugs targeting the eicosanoid pathway for inflammatory diseases.
