Rashmi Bala

Rashmi Bala is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Anakin, a Y Combinator-backed pricing intelligence company, and is based in Austin, Texas. At Anakin, she leads the engineering and data science teams for a platform that generates approximately $7 million in annual revenue and serves over 15 multi-billion-dollar enterprise clients, including Flipkart and Nike. Before establishing the startup in 2020 with co-founder Mohit Prateek, she worked as a Full Stack Developer at True Fit Corporation and a Software Developer at Loylty Rewardz. She began her career as a Software Engineering Intern at CA Technologies while completing her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Bala currently focuses on developing machine learning applications and automated programming interfaces to optimize revenue and competitive data analytics for global e-commerce operations.
