Randall Howard

Randall Howard is a General Partner at the Archangel Network of Funds and the founding General Partner of the Adrenaline Fund, based in Waterloo, Ontario. He previously served as Co-founder and CEO of MKS Inc., an enterprise software company that he took public before its acquisition by Parametric Technology Corporation for $304 million in 2011. A University of Waterloo mathematics and computer science graduate, he helped establish the regional technology ecosystem by co-founding organizations such as Communitech, Innovation Guelph, and the Golden Triangle AngelNet. Through the Adrenaline and Cognition funds, he has backed approximately 50 Canadian technology companies since 2021, typically deploying $100,000 to $300,000 into early-stage and Series B rounds. His current investment focus spans enterprise software as a service, climate technology, medical devices, and deep tech ventures across the North American market.
