Rami Seid

Rami Seid is the Co-founder of Lucid, a generative artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024, the company is backed by Y Combinator as part of its Winter 2025 cohort and develops generative neural simulation engines. Prior to establishing Lucid, Seid bypassed traditional formal education to begin his career as a Machine Learning Engineer at an applied robotics laboratory. He subsequently served as the Chief Technology Officer for a government technology contracting firm and co-founded an independent telecommunications enterprise while conducting machine learning research. His current engineering work focuses on closing the simulation-to-reality gap in robotics by generating real-time environments directly from pixel data, achieving performance metrics comparable to platforms like Minecraft. Seid maintains a primary professional focus on advancing generative artificial intelligence and building scalable alternatives to traditional game engines.
