Rakefet Russak Aminoach is a Managing Partner at Team8 based in Israel, where she builds and invests in early-stage financial technology startups. She previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank Leumi from 2012 to 2019, leading the institution's digital transformation by establishing the LeumiTech division and launching PEPPER, the country's first neobank. In addition to her venture capital investments, she serves as Chairwoman of the artificial intelligence chipmaker Hailo and sits on the corporate board of directors for BNY. Her executive leadership in the commercial banking sector, which was featured in a dedicated Harvard Business School case study, is supported by multiple advanced degrees in finance, accounting, economics, and corporate law.
