Paolo Privitera

Paolo Privitera is the General Partner at 1521 Ventures, based in Silicon Valley, California. Over a 30-year career that began with his first internet business at age sixteen, he has founded six companies, resulting in four exits, and raised more than $300 million in capital. Most notably, he served as the CEO and co-founder of Evensi, scaling the platform to 60 million users and 200 million events before its acquisition by Events.com. As an active investor, Privitera has backed over 100 startups, serves as a limited partner in eight funds, and mentors founders through accelerator programs like 500 Startups and Google Launchpad. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and computer science degrees from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia.
