Paimun Amini

Paimun Amini is the Managing Partner at Overlap Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. In March 2025, he led the close of the firm's $50 million Fund II, targeting pre-seed to Series A startups across artificial intelligence and healthcare. His active investment portfolio encompasses more than 20 early-stage companies, featuring notable equity stakes in technology platforms such as Replit. Before entering venture capital, Amini served as Chief Operating Officer at autonomous vehicle developer Cruise and held operational leadership positions at the biotechnology firm Benchling.
