Nruthya Madappa

Nruthya Madappa is a Managing Director at Khosla Ventures based in San Francisco, California, where she focuses on early-stage investments in artificial intelligence, sustainability, and frontier technology. Before joining the firm founded by Vinod Khosla, she led investments at Kleiner Perkins and held various engineering roles at Silicon Valley startups. Throughout her venture capital career, Madappa has deployed over $500 million across more than 20 portfolio companies, achieving two unicorn exits and recently leading a $45 million Series A funding round for quantum computing startup QubitLabs in March 2026. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, alongside both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Her current focus remains on bridging technical innovation and strategic capital to scale deep tech and climate enterprises.
