Nirbhay Narang is the Founder of AirCaps and is currently based in New York City, where he is participating in a startup residency accelerator program. At AirCaps, he is developing artificial intelligence-powered smart glasses that provide real-time conversation transcriptions for individuals with hearing loss, a proprietary hardware product that is currently accepting pre-orders. Narang graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in computer science from Cornell University, where he conducted human-computer interaction research and completed independent studies on large language models alongside Professor Parikh. His recent entrepreneurial initiatives have been supported by the 2024 Kessler Fellowship and the 8VC Fellowship, complementing his previous software engineering experience at various early-stage technology startups. Narang maintains a primary professional focus on leveraging artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction principles to build accessible hardware technologies for underserved communities.
