Mitch Thrower

Mitch Thrower is a serial entrepreneur, financier, author, and the Founder and Chairman of Events.com, an innovative cloud-based event management SaaS platform headquartered in San Diego, California. Before establishing this software venture in 2009, he co-founded the registration platform Active.com and served as the Chief Interactive Officer at Competitor Group. Beyond his corporate technology leadership, he serves as Chairman of the La Jolla Foundation nonprofit organization and is a dedicated endurance athlete who has successfully completed 22 Ironman triathlons. His extensive academic background features an MBA in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of San Diego and a BA in Philosophy from Saint Lawrence University, alongside specialized executive education programs at Stanford University and Yale University. Thrower currently focuses on driving board-level strategy, client growth, and strategic partnerships within the active lifestyle, finance, mobile applications, and event technology sectors.
