Lisa Marrone

Lisa Marrone is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Revel, a membership-based social platform for women in midlife, based in San Francisco, California. Under her leadership, the company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2019 batch and subsequently secured a $3.5 million seed funding round to expand its operations. Backed by prominent investors including Forerunner Ventures and Pivotal Ventures, Revel grew to a peak headcount of 16 employees and completed a strategic acquisition of a similar platform in August 2021. Prior to establishing Revel, Marrone gained professional experience through roles at the venture capital firm August Capital and within the Executive Office of the President. Although Revel is currently listed as inactive, her entrepreneurial focus has centered on addressing loneliness and facilitating networking opportunities through curated events and digital communities for women over forty.
