Katherine Allen

Katherine Allen is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flo Recruit, a specialized legal technology and hiring software platform based in Austin, Texas. She established the enterprise alongside co-founder Atreya Misra while completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Allen subsequently scaled the platform to serve numerous Am Law 200 firms and top-tier United States law schools. Under her leadership, the company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2019 batch and secured a $1 million seed round, later closing a $4.2 million Series A financing round led by LiveOak Venture Partners and Breyer Capital in March 2023. Later that year, she oversaw the deployment of a proprietary applicant tracking system built specifically for legal recruiting. Her current focus centers on expanding business-to-business software solutions and optimizing talent acquisition workflows across the legal sector.
