John Coogan

John Coogan is the Co-founder of Lucy Goods, an Entrepreneur in Residence at Founders Fund, and a digital content creator based in Los Angeles, California. He previously served as the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Soylent, a meal replacement startup that participated in Y Combinator and raised over $130 million before its eventual acquisition by Starco Brands in 2023. The Georgia Institute of Technology alumnus also operates a business-focused YouTube channel that has accumulated more than 300,000 subscribers through documentary-style videos analyzing technology and startups. As an active angel investor, he allocates capital toward early-stage technology ventures while exploring practical applications of computer graphics and deep learning within the consumer packaged goods sector.
