Jahanzeb Sherwani is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pop, a collaboration software company based in San Francisco, California. He holds a doctorate in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and participated in the Winter 2013 batch of Y Combinator. Sherwani previously served as the Co-Founder and CEO of Screenhero, a screen-sharing application that was acquired by Slack in January 2015 to power its native voice and video features. Following the acquisition, he worked as a Director of Product Management at Slack before establishing Pop in 2020 to develop low-latency pair-programming tools for developers. Under his leadership, Pop launched its beta platform in 2023 and subsequently secured Series A funding in late 2024.
