Fernando Huerta

Fernando Huerta is a technology executive and entrepreneur based in Mexico who most recently helped build Orchata, a startup backed by Y Combinator. After earning his undergraduate degree in computer science, he established himself as an early pioneer in regional technology infrastructure by facilitating the first internet connection in Latin America in 1989. Huerta later transitioned into corporate leadership, serving as the Marketing and Sales Director for AT&T Mexico, where he scaled the division's annual recurring revenue from $0 to $120 million. Returning to the startup ecosystem, he participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2020 cohort with Orchata, an e-commerce logistics platform that ultimately delivered 300,000 grocery orders to 30,000 customers.
