Faraz Rana is an independent startup operator and legal compliance professional with over fifteen years of corporate experience, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. He previously served as a founding employee at Bread, a prominent buy now, pay later financial technology company. During his tenure, he leveraged his corporate background to guide the early-stage enterprise through complex regulatory and operational growth phases. He ultimately helped scale the core business from its initial inception through to a $450 million acquisition by Alliance Data Systems in 2020. Prior to entering the technology startup ecosystem, Rana worked extensively as a corporate mergers and acquisitions lawyer, while simultaneously exploring independent entrepreneurial startup ideas in his spare time.
