Carl Madi

Carl Madi is a Co-founder leading User Acquisition and Employer Partnerships at Stepful, an educational technology startup based in New York City. Prior to establishing this healthcare training platform in 2021, he held senior operations and growth leadership roles at major technology companies including Uber and Handy. During his tenure as an operator at Handy, Madi directly managed a $75 million profit and loss statement while overseeing marketplace supply dynamics. Across his various positions within the gig economy sector, he executed large-scale worker acquisition strategies that ultimately onboarded more than 100,000 independent workers and contractors. He subsequently guided Stepful through the Y Combinator accelerator program as a participant in its Summer 2021 batch. His current professional focus centers on scaling two-sided digital marketplaces and developing specialized workforce training solutions for the allied healthcare industry.
