Baiju Bhatt

Baiju Bhatt is the Founder and CEO of Aetherflux and a Co-Founder and Board Member of Robinhood, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He earned a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree in mathematics from Stanford University, where he met his business partner Vlad Tenev. After building high-frequency trading platforms in New York City, the duo launched Robinhood, a commission-free retail trading platform that reached a multibillion-dollar market capitalization following its 2021 initial public offering. This fintech success elevated Bhatt to a net worth of two and a half billion dollars before he stepped down as Chief Creative Officer in March 2024. He subsequently launched Aetherflux with sixty million dollars in funding to commercialize space-based solar power, focusing on deploying an orbital satellite demonstration by 2026 to beam clean energy back to Earth.
