Ayush Jain

Ayush Jain is the Co-founder and CEO of Syntra, a health technology startup based in San Francisco, United States. Backed by Y Combinator in its Summer 2024 batch, the company recently raised $2 million from investors including Duke Health Capital and Coinbase. Under his leadership, the seven-person startup automates medical billing, serving hundreds of specialty practices nationwide and processing over $100 million in medical claims annually. Prior to founding Syntra, Jain studied Computer Science and Chemistry at Duke University, where he was named a Goldwater Scholar. He also conducted artificial intelligence and healthcare research at Duke AI Health and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, utilizing electronic health records for clinical trial simulations. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize medical data analytics and streamline billing compliance for private healthcare practices.
