Andres Junge is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Notabene, a cryptocurrency regulatory compliance platform, and is based in Santiago, Chile. He has worked continuously as a software developer since 1985, accumulating nearly 40 years of technical engineering experience across various decentralized technology sectors. Prior to establishing Notabene in 2020 to address the Financial Action Task Force Travel Rule, Junge co-founded uPort, a decentralized identity project incubated by Ethereum software company Consensys in 2015. His broader entrepreneurial background extends to regional and educational initiatives, having founded Yaykuy Bitcoin Chile to promote cryptocurrency education and co-founded the Micael Waldorf School. Throughout his career, he has specialized in self-sovereign identity and decentralized blockchain architecture.
