Alejandro Salinas

Alejandro Salinas is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Locata, an AI-native healthcare referral management platform based in New York, New York. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he conducted artificial intelligence research at Stanford Medicine. Before launching his current venture, Salinas worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Meta Reality Labs, where he authored an AI patent and developed artificial intelligence features for wearable technology products. At Locata, which is participating in the Y Combinator Summer 2025 cohort, he leads growth and product strategy for a two-person team. The company secured a major regional health center as a client within two weeks of its product launch, automating processes to save the clinic over 100 hours in its first month. Salinas currently focuses on bridging his pre-medical clinical experience with software engineering to resolve referral gaps in primary care.
