Adam Gamieldien

Adam Gamieldien is the Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Certus AI, based in Cape Town, South Africa. Before launching his current venture, he co-founded a restaurant growth startup alongside Gurveer Singh, where he worked directly with dozens of independent operators to scale revenue across delivery, catering, and events. At Certus AI, Gamieldien leads go-to-market strategy for a three-person team developing artificial intelligence voice agents that manage restaurant inquiries with 98.6% accuracy. The platform automates missed phone orders and integrates directly with major delivery networks like Uber Eats and DoorDash, as well as standard point-of-sale systems. The company was recently selected to participate in the Y Combinator S25 cohort, marking a notable milestone for the African-founded enterprise. Gamieldien currently focuses on expanding artificial intelligence automation within the hospitality sector to optimize revenue and streamline daily restaurant operations.
