Ukrainian Startup Fund

The Ukrainian Startup Fund, officially the Innovation Development Fund, is a state institution providing early-stage funding to innovative projects and tech startups. It develops and administers grant programs, acceleration initiatives, and innovation vouchers, driving the national startup ecosystem. The fund aims to create conditions for technological growth and to promote Ukrainian solutions globally.

Established in 2018 under the initiative of the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, the fund emerged from the insight that new tech ventures needed structured government support. Since 2023, its operations have been overseen by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. This origin reflects a clear strategic intent to build foundational support for domestic innovation and economic resilience.

The fund supports Ukrainian innovative projects and tech startups, offering capital and developmental resources. Its vision is to strengthen the national startup ecosystem and foster a positive investment image for Ukraine's technology sector internationally. The Ukrainian Startup Fund also contributes to national defense capabilities and future reconstruction through targeted grant programs.
